In 1996, Mr. Etienne Loew took over this family winery which located in Westhoffen since eighteenth century. For him, the wine is a complex product that is renewed every year dependent the different terroir and vine.

CHÂTEAU DE LA BONNELIÈRE

A château, a vineyard, a passion!

Thanks to the will of two generations, the Château de la Bonnelière regained its nobility and its original vocation, vineyards and wine. In 1976, Pierre Plouzeau bought the family property, renovated the castle and replanted the vineyards disappeared. In 1989, a modern winery was born as well as a wine “ Chinon Château de la Bonnelière “. His son, Marc, takes over the domaine in 1999, continues to develop, going fully organice and perfects cellar. Today it is a must Chinon vineyards.
