Olives, cereals and vines of course, across more than 2,500 hectares, Tenuta san Guido cultivates diversity. But what the estate is really famous for is its Sassicaia, a pure, made-in-Italy cabernet. A risk, which the estate took – and with skill.

As legend has it, on the Aretini Hills, near Mount Chianti, the vines would flourish in exceptional conditions. The two wines from the estate, the Torrione and the Terri di Galatrona are perfect examples of this.

One of Tuscany’s leading wineries.

Since 1998 Barbara Widmer, oenologist and daughter of the founders, has been responsible for the winemaking as well as for the vineyards on all three estates. She thereby relies on the consultancy of the famous oenologist Carlo Ferrini.

25 years of successes.

After Castellare di Castellina located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, Rocca of Frassinello was born in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, between Bolgheri to the north and Scansano to the south. A great international project conceived with the partnership of Les Domaines Baron de Rothschild-Lafite to produce three wines in what can be considered as a meeting of the best of Italy and France.
